We make one spring mattress: the Hybrid. It is a foam-and-coil bed built on a real Bonnell steel coil unit, not a pocket spring. Coil count runs from 260 in a Single to 494 in a King, with a 2.4mm coil wire (the market standard is 2.2mm), full oven tempering at 300C, and a 5.5mm border wire clipped on every perimeter coil. It is independently tested to EN 1957, 30,000 cycles under a 140kg rolling load, roughly 8 to 12 years of normal use, with 96% height retention. We publish that report rather than just claim it.
We do not make a pocket spring, and here is why that is honest
A pocket spring mattress wraps each individual coil in its own fabric pocket so it moves independently of its neighbours. It is a genuinely different build to a Bonnell coil, where coils are linked together as one connected unit. We do not currently manufacture a pocket spring mattress, and we would rather tell you that plainly than let a product page imply otherwise. What we do build is a properly engineered Bonnell coil hybrid, with the thicker wire, full tempering and clipped border wire that most cheap Bonnell units skip, backed by a published EN 1957 test result. If a true pocket spring feel is what you specifically want, the Hybrid is not that product; if you want a supportive coil-sprung mattress with a genuine, independently tested lifespan, it is a strong, honest option.
