You do not need a credit card to buy a bed online in South Africa. Not at Mr Mattress, anyway. Pay straight from your bank app, use Capitec Pay, or split the price over interest-free instalments with just your ID. Option 1: Pay by bank
Choose pay by bank at checkout, pick your bank, and approve the payment inside your own banking app. Nothing to type, nothing to store, no card anywhere in the process. If you bank with Capitec, this is Capitec Pay, the same approval flow you already use. It also skips the single most annoying thing about online card payments: the roughly 1 in 4 that fail on limits, typos or 3D Secure timeouts.
Option 2: Interest-free instalments
No credit card, no problem, and no full payment either. Option 3: Credit over up to 12 months
