Caravan manufacturers don't build mattresses. They buy the cheapest foam slab that fits and move on. Most caravan mattresses use 28 to 30kg/m3 foam. It feels fine on the showroom floor. Two seasons later it's a hollow that folds around your hips, and you're lying awake at Mapungubwe wondering why your back is finished before the holiday even starts.
Our caravan mattresses are built with the same 50kg/m3 SABS-approved high-density foam we put in our home range. That's not marketing. It's the density number, published, so you can compare it with anything else out there.

Every kilogram in a caravan counts against your payload. A sprung mattress can add 25 to 30kg you don't have. Our foam caravan mattresses weigh a fraction of that, so you keep your weight allowance for the things that matter. Like the second gas bottle. And the wine.
Delivery is the other problem nobody talks about. A caravan door is about 65cm wide. A full mattress doesn't fit through it. Ours arrives vacuum-rolled in a box, carries straight through the door, and expands on the bed. Free delivery nationwide (small fee for extreme rural areas): about 3 days to major centres, up to 7 days to outlying areas.
Island bed? Cut corner? French bed? We cut it.
No two caravans have the same bed. Island beds have rounded corners. Some layouts have a corner cut away for the washroom. A square mattress on a shaped bed base means overhang, gaps, and a mattress that never sits right. So we do what almost nobody in South Africa does:

Will a caravan mattress fit through my caravan door?
Yes. Every mattress ships vacuum-rolled in a box. It carries through a standard 65cm caravan door easily and expands on the bed within hours.
Will it fit my Sprite, Jurgens or Gypsey island bed?
Our Island Bed (Queen) option with free rounded corners fits most South African island bed layouts, including the Sprite Tourer, Sprite Spiral, Jurgens Exclusive and Gypsey Royale. Measure your bed base at its widest and longest point to confirm. If your shape is unusual, WhatsApp us a traced template on 087 292 1957 and we will cut it custom.
What sizes do you sell?
Two sizes: Double Bed and Island Bed (Queen). Island bed orders can add free rounded corners. Full custom shapes are available on request via WhatsApp on 087 292 1957.
How heavy is a foam caravan mattress?
A fraction of a sprung mattress. Foam saves you 15 to 25kg of payload compared to an innerspring, and there are no springs to bend or rust on corrugated roads.
Why is my current caravan mattress so uncomfortable?
Most original caravan mattresses use 28 to 30kg/m3 foam, built to a price. It compresses and hollows out within a season or two. Our caravan range uses 50kg/m3 SABS-approved high-density foam, the same density we use in our home mattresses.
Does the 365-night trial apply to caravan mattresses?
Yes. Standard Double and Island Bed (Queen) mattresses carry the full 365-night trial and 10-year warranty. Custom-cut shapes carry the 10-year warranty.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery is free nationwide, with a small fee for extreme rural areas: about 3 working days to major centres and up to 7 working days to outlying areas.
