A named answer, not a shortlist of sellers
KZN buying guides point to stores like Beds2Go or national brands available through local retailers - reasonable starting points, but none of it names a specific mattress or gives you a spec to compare. The Revive's 65 kg/m³ core and memory-foam top are published on the product page, not something you have to ask a salesperson to estimate.
Mattress and pillow: you need both right
A great mattress with the wrong pillow height still leaves your neck bent all night. Side sleepers generally need a thicker pillow to fill the gap between ear and shoulder; back sleepers need a lower, flatter one. Get the mattress right first - it's the harder problem to fix, and the one most buying guides skip past.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best mattress for neck pain in KZN?
A medium-firm mattress that keeps your shoulders level with your spine. The Mr Mattress Revive Memory Foam (65 kg/m³ core) is built for exactly this, and delivers free to Durban and the rest of KZN.
Do you have a factory in KZN?
Yes - our manufacturing facilities are in Gauteng, the Free State, Cape Town, East London, KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga. Every mattress still ships to KZN free.
Is it the mattress or the pillow causing my neck pain?
Often both. Start with the mattress since it affects your whole spine's alignment, then match your pillow height to your sleep position.
What is your trial and return policy?
365 nights at home, no minimum hold period, on every mattress.
Firm or medium-firm for neck pain?
Not necessarily firmer - just level. Side sleepers usually need some contouring softness (Revive); back and stomach sleepers usually do better on a firmer surface (Active Foam).

What to check before you buy any mattress
- Published foam density. Active Foam is 50 kg/m3 and the Revive has a 65 kg/m3 core, printed on the product so you can compare like with like.
- Weight rating. The Revive is rated to 140 kg per sleeper, so check the rating for the heaviest person in the bed.
- Trial and warranty terms. Ours is a 365 night home trial, a 30 day money-back guarantee and a fixed written warranty that is never pro-rated.
- The base. A worn or sagging base can undo a new mattress, so a base set is worth considering.
- The pillow. A pillow that suits your sleeping position matters as much as the mattress for neck comfort.
Signs your current mattress is the problem
A visible dip where you sleep, waking stiff most mornings, noisy springs, or a mattress that is more than 8 to 10 years old are the usual signs. A mattress is a comfort product, not a medical treatment, so speak to a doctor about persistent pain.

More questions, answered
Does the pillow matter as much as the mattress in KwaZulu-Natal?
Yes. A pillow that is too high or low can undo a good mattress, so judge both over several weeks.
What mattress suits the warm, humid KwaZulu-Natal climate?
Durban and the coast are warm and humid for much of the year, so breathable bedding helps on any mattress, and the Hybrid Foam adds airflow through its coil core. The 365 night trial lets you judge it through the hottest months.
How long does delivery take to Durban and Pietermaritzburg?
Delivery takes 3 to 7 working days and is free nationwide, with a small fee only for extreme rural areas.
Can I see a mattress in person near KwaZulu-Natal?
We do not have a store in KwaZulu-Natal. Every mattress carries a 365 night home trial, which is a longer test than a showroom, and our walk-in stores are in Bloemfontein, Welkom and Upington.
