The 10cm rule: standard length versus extra length
Every South African standard size, Single, Three Quarter, Double and Queen, shares the same 188cm length. A three quarter is never too short, only the width changes, unless you need the extra length option. Furniture makers use a simple rule for when a bed is outgrown: once the head or the feet come within 10cm of the ends, it is time to move up.
Said plainly. Comfort Foam and Active Foam are standard length only, 188cm, no extra length option. If more length, not more width, is what you need, the Revive Three Quarter Extra Length at 200cm, R6,479, is the answer, not a different width. It is currently our only extra length three quarter.

Honestly, some of those entry prices beat ours. What we would rather compete on is what you actually get for the difference.
The Bed Centre's Johannesburg entry price is genuinely lower than our Comfort Foam three quarter. What you are trading for that difference is a published core density instead of a size on a spec sheet, a 10 year warranty on the Active Foam instead of an unspecified one, and a 365 night home trial instead of 100 nights. What size is a three quarter mattress in South Africa?+
107 x 188cm standard, wider than a single (92cm), narrower than a double (137cm), and the same 188cm length as every standard South African size. A 200cm extra length option exists in our Revive Memory Foam range.

Yes. The Revive Memory Foam Three Quarter Extra Length is 107 x 200cm, R6,479. It is currently the only extra length three quarter we make, suiting a sleeper up to about 180cm.
